Lisbon's bebedouros

Lisbon has been building a network of public drinking fountains with EPAL, the utility that has supplied the city since the 19th century, alongside restoration work on the old stone chafarizes that used to be where everyone got their water. The new ones are connected to EPAL's mains by deliberately short branches, so the water in them stays cool and does not sit.

They are free, they are on the street rather than inside anything, and many have a second, lower bowl for a dog.
