01 · Map

Everything on one map. Filter it down to the category you need, to what is open now, to what is free.

A place sheet for a public toilet, showing that it is open 24/7, free, wheelchair accessible and has a changing table.
02 · Place

Opening hours, free or paid, access notes, and a badge for whether anyone has confirmed it.

03 · Closest

A needle pointing at the nearest one, with a distance and a walking estimate. Widget also available.

What you get for free

The whole map, every category and every filter, with no account and no trial period. Six things it does to improve your experience:

01

Closest, with a compass

Pick what you need and get pointed at the nearest one: a needle, a distance and a walking estimate. A home-screen widget and app shortcut open straight into it, so it is one tap from a locked phone.

02

Open now

Opening hours and seasonal dates are shown where they are known, checked live against your phone’s clock. A fountain that is off during winter says so.

03

Confirmed by the people using it

Every place carries a badge for whether a person has confirmed it works. One tap confirms it, one tap reports a problem, and repeatedly wrong edits limit an account.

04

Filters that match the situation

Narrow by category, free or paid, open now, saved, and how you travel. All filters are free for everyone.

05

No account to browse

The whole map is usable without signing in. An account is only needed to contribute.

06

Your location stays on your phone

Location is used in the app, in the foreground, and is never stored on our servers.

Built for every kind of journey

From a morning run to months on the road, find the water and facilities that keep you moving.

Where it works

Map data covers 50 countries and territories: Europe, from Iceland to Turkey and from Portugal to Ukraine, plus US and Canada. Coverage inside a country varies: cities with strong open data start dense, and everywhere else improves as people add places.

Built by the people using it

Nobody on a payroll keeps 650,000 places accurate. The people standing at one do, a few seconds at a time. Most of the remaining gap is detail on places that already exist: opening hours, free or paid, whether a door needs a coin or a Euro key.

How contributions work
  1. 01 Confirm what is already thereOne tap on a place you just used. The next person sees someone has verified the place.
  2. 02 Fill in a missing detailHours, whether it is open to everyone or customers only, wheelchair access, drinkable or not.
  3. 03 Add what is missing entirelyDrop a pin, choose a category. Only those two are required; anyone can add the rest later.
