Harbour information is badly documented almost everywhere: club websites last updated in 2014, printed guides out of date the month they are published, and everything else living in the heads of people at the next berth.

Fontavio maps dock drinking water, marine pump-out stations, marina showers, laundry and toilets, with the same community verification as everything else. Places can carry whether a pump-out is dockside or floating and whether it is self-service.

Marine facilities are currently one of the least complete parts of the map. Fontavio starts with open map data, and marinas and their facilities are not consistently documented there. That means there are places missing from the map today, but a single boater adding a marina, pump-out or water point can fill a gap for everyone following the same route.

The travel-mode setting matters here. Set it to boat and the map stops showing you inland places you cannot reach, while keeping marina services that serve both road and water traffic.
